Wellness – Salt
Salt Therapy
Salt therapy or Halotherapy involves breathing in air with tiny salt particles to improve your breathing. It is considered an alternative treatment for lung problems such as asthma, bronchitis, and cough.
This type of therapy is taken in spa-like rooms and can help with skin conditions and allergies.
There are 2 different types of Salt rooms Active & Passive.
An Active Salt room has a machine called a halogenerator to which salt is added. The salt is broken down into tiny particles which are circulated around the room. A Passive salt room on the other hand is filled with different types of salt and resembles a cave where the temperature and humidity are controlled.
The health benefits of salt treatment include the:-
